Privacy notice

What Spotrove stores, for how long, and how to remove it: saved products and interests stay in your browser, an anonymous cookie de-duplicates activity counters for 90 days, and advertiser accounts can be deleted from the studio at any time.

What stays in your browser

Saved products, hidden listings, and selected interests are written to your browser’s local storage and are never sent to Spotrove. They do not follow you to another device. Clear them at any time from Your interests in the feed, or by clearing site data in your browser.

Cookies Spotrove sets

• spotrove_visitor — a random identifier, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, 90 days. Used only to count an impression, click, save, or report once per listing per day. It holds no personal detail and is stored hashed.
• spotrove_cognito_session — set only after you sign in, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax. Keeps you signed in until your Cognito token expires. Removed when you sign out.
• spotrove_challenge — a short-lived cookie (three minutes) used only while completing a multi-factor or new-password sign-in step.

There are no third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels, and no analytics vendors.

Activity measurement

An impression is recorded when at least 60% of a listing card is visible for one second. Impressions, clicks, and saves are recorded once per visitor, per listing, per day, and deleted automatically after 90 days. Advertisers see totals for their own listings only, never individual visitor records. These counts are discovery signals, not proof of a sale.

Advertiser accounts

Amazon Cognito handles your password, email verification, and account recovery; Spotrove never stores your password. Spotrove stores your name, email address, role, sign-in timestamps, your submitted listings, and any placement requests. Administrators can see account details in order to arrange a requested payment. Moderators review listings and reports and cannot see the payment ledger.

Deleting your account

Sign in, open the advertiser studio, choose Account, and confirm deletion. Spotrove deletes your Cognito user, your profile, every listing you published, their activity counters and reports, and any placement records. The action is immediate and cannot be undone. If you cannot sign in, write to contact@higglerslab.com from the address on the account.

Newsletter and alerts

If you subscribe to the newsletter, new-listing alerts, or a price watch, we store your email address, what you asked for, and when you confirmed. Nothing is sent until you confirm from your inbox. Every email links to a page where you can change or stop what you receive, and one click unsubscribes you from everything. Emails are delivered through Amazon SES. We never sell or share subscriber addresses.

External products and media

Opening a listing’s product link takes you to the advertiser’s own website, which has its own policies. Listing images and videos may be hosted by the advertiser, so their servers receive your network request when the media loads.

Your rights and how to exercise them

You can ask for a copy of the data held about your account, ask for a correction, or ask for deletion. Write to contact@higglerslab.com from the address on the account. Spotrove is operated by Spotrove.

Changes to this notice

The date above changes whenever the substance of this notice changes. Material changes affecting advertisers are also sent to the account email.
